Wellness and Lifestyle Coaching by Rupa

image2Our work together begins with a health history and initial consultation to determine your needs, then develop your goals for the future. Over the next six months I will guide you through a program of incremental changes, taking baby steps that will help you easily incorporate meaningful lifestyle changes into your daily life. Over time, we will revisit your progress towards your goals, and together we will determine what’s working well for you – and what is not. This ongoing evaluation will help us to determine more feasible, realistic goals, and help you to stay on track toward your vision of a healthier, happier life.

Rest assured, I will be there to listen and support you every step of the way, and I will be present throughout this journey of change and empowerment upon which you’ve embarked so bravely.

6-Month One-on-One Personal Coaching

Using your health history questionnaire, combined with our initial consultation, I will develop a customized 6-Month Wellness Plan that will focus on your needs, desires, and health goals. Since you are a unique individual, there can be no “One-size-fits-all” approach to helping you find the health and happiness you’re looking for. We can work together in person if possible, or by phone or Skype for each coaching session. I will also support you with email communication, as well as handouts and other materials designed to enable and empower you, and help you reach the weekly goals we’ve set to help you reach your individual vision for your life.

During our six months together, I will help you:

  • Assess your values, beliefs, and goals
  • Establish new, realistic goals based on your values and beliefs
  • Examine limiting behaviors, and the reasons for them
  • Learn to read packaged food labels
  • Learn to create quick, tasty, healthy meals for your entire family
  • Learn to shop healthy so you can eat healthy
  • Discover some wonderful apps that can help improve shopping habits and follow causes that matter to you
  • Discover Meditation for stress relief
  • Learn simple yoga poses
  • Learn how to use daily affirmations for a more positive outlook
  • Develop daily routines that make life fun again

Together, we will turn “Making Changes” into a FUN thing to do, instead of something to be afraid of. By the time we’ve spent our six months together, you will FEEL better, LOOK better, and BE a better YOU!

6-Month Group Coaching

I understand very well that not everyone can afford the personal attention of a Wellness Coach, so I have chosen to offer Group Coaching Sessions as well. These sessions are offered at a substantial discount from my One-on-One Personal Coaching, and will be scheduled approximately four times per year. The groups will be limited to six-eight participants and, other than the group environment, will be identical to the individual coaching, except that you can expect these other benefits:

  • Receive the additional support of group members
  • Share life experiences and challenges with like-minded people
  • Develop empathy and offer support to others
  • Hold each other accountable for failure – and for SUCCESS
  • Make new friends

Group coaching can be an incredibly positive experience for those who cannot afford to, or choose not to, participate in individual coaching. Though somewhat less customizable, the support of group members can be very rewarding, making the group experience positive and empowering for all involved.
